Roof Services
ROOF WASH AND PREPARATION INCLUDING CHEMICAL REMOVAL OF MOSS AND LICHEN
Keeping your roof maintained is extremely important. Moss and algae play a huge factor in how long your materials will last. Washing your roof will significantly help maintain it and prevent it from deteriorating. This is a great way to keep costs down in the long run. We offer two options:
1. Roof Wash and Treatment
Using our commercial grade water blaster, we gently wash away lichen and algae. Then apply a very safe chemical treatment to kill both the lichen and algae which then stops it from returning for about 2 years.
2. Roof Treatment
This involves spraying product onto the roof. This slowly rids it of moss, mold and lichen, then mother nature takes over. Sun and rain will slowly break everything down and remove it. This process takes between 12-18 months, depending how thick and black the mold is. The moss and lichen should start to change colour within the first 3 months.
